The Grain Whisky Distillery Cameronbridge was founded in 1824 by John Haig and is the largest and probably also the oldest of its kind in Scotland.
Under the motto 'Elusive Expressions', this year's Special Releases each represent a legend surrounding their distillery. On the Cameronbridge, a knight is visible on his triumphant victory march through the River Ore, close to the distillery. The legend says that every 26 years gold flows through the river, whose silky character is reflected in this bottling.
