This is the fourth bottling of Stauning Bastard from the Research Series of the Danish distillery. The rye whisky consists of a mash of malted rye and barley malt. After maturing in heavily toasted fresh white oak barrels, it received a finish in Oro de Oaxaca mezcal barrels. The barrels, which previously contained the agave liquor, give the whisky its special aroma. The label was designed by tattoo artist Thit Hansgaard.
