Stauning Kaos from Denmark consists of three different malts: Classic Single Malt, Smoky Single Malt and Rye Whisky made from malted rye. At Stauning, all steps from malting to bottling take place on the distillery's premises in Skjern on Denmark's west coast. This variant of Kaos is initially matured for more than 3 years in new American oak and first fill Maker's Mark casks. The whisky then spends another 18 months in rum casks from Fiji, Cuba and Barbados.
