The Danish Stauning Maple Syrup Finish marks the return of a popular and award-winning whisky from Denmark. Like its predecessor, the rye whisky is limited but is now more readily available due to its popularity. The maturation in casks from the North American state of Vermont, in which sweet, creamy maple syrup was previously stored, gives it notes of vanilla, liquorice and citrus, followed by hints of sourdough, mint and cinnamon. The label is adorned with a drawing by Danish tattoo artist Thit.
