Dunedin Double Wood is produced by the New Zealand Whisky Company. The company was founded in 2009. The vineyards of Central Otago, on the east coast of New Zealand's South Island, are the southernmost wine region in the world. Wines with powerful aromas and finely balanced tannins are produced there. The Single Malt was subjected to a double cask maturation and spent three years in former bourbon casks and another 1.5 years in Pinot Noir red wine casks from New Zealand.
